Testimonial from District Capital Management

District Capital Management Identity by 2lchWhat problems did I help you solve?

TH: We are four finance and investment professionals with knacks for numbers and cents.  Our expertise lies in figuring out markets but figuring out our brand identity was challenging at best.  Anna took the time to understand our mission, our philosophy, and our individual and collective personalities and created a phenomenal brand identity package.  Though the end-product has become an integral part of our firm, the process of uncovering our brand identity helped shape the firm foundation best.

MD: Anna did an excellent job in creating a unique and attractive logo for our firm that met our vision, while being industry appropriate.

What was memorable about your experience?

TH: A memorable part of my experience working with Anna was watching her reaction to a bunch of analytical type-A personalities argue about color palettes.

MD: Anna’s ability to bring to the table unique logos that incorporated creative ideas related to our industry and vision.

Stumbled across this while waiting for a friend to get out of a meeting. Love it.

Sketchbook promotional piece || 2lch

Done with undergrad design

I turned in my assigned self-promotional piece, and so was done with my undergraduate art degree. Bittersweet. These are hand-bound sketchbooks with a promo sleeve wrapped around the front cover. An envelope holding business cards, a letterhead, and a resume is inserted into the sleeve. The photos, unfortunately, had to be taken on my phone…. [Continue Reading]

Future experiments: effect of physical movement on retention

After some hectic decisions that influenced my career path in the last two years, I’m happy to say that I’m still looking to return to academia and go to grad school, potentially for a PhD in consumer behavior/modeling. I’m also intrigued by the masters programs offered by the GWU Department of Decision Sciences (introduced to… [Continue Reading]

Mmm, monsieur!

I love my Courbet. Enough to rip out pages from a thrifted art book and frame them.

Herbal Essences is silly

When I first saw these on the shelves, I was a little shocked. I still am. Why is Herbal Essences channeling “preteen sunscreen” in their packaging? Where is the “herbal essence”? I have this weird nostalgia about this brand being my grandma’s favorite shampoo back in the ’90s, and I think she was sold on… [Continue Reading]
